How long do forehead fillers usually last?

There is no standard duration available . There are also no clinical trials that have tested the procedure duration, hence Dr.Avaliani shares her personal and her patients duration of results.

Dr.Avaliani has had dermal fillers placed above her eyebrows in 2020, it has been 5 years and it still looks amazing. Many of Dr.Avaliani’s patients who had dermal fillers for the eyebrows and volume replacement, all have duration for years, over 5 years as well with practically no touch ups needed.

It is therefore safe to say these dermal fillers tend to last for years in the forehead area as the area doesn’t move much and if patient also receives tox like Botox/Dysport, it helps to keep the filler in place and reduce the movement forces which can expedite the absorption and breakdown of the fillers. Think for example lip filler, which tend to last about 4-6 months because we use our mouths daily, multiple times a day, hence the mechanical movements of the muscles of the lips, help to aid its absorption faster. We cannot reduce the movement of the lips with Botox or Dysport, because it will affect the speech and function of the lips but we can reduce the movement in the forehead area.

How long is the recovery after forehead filler injections?
