RADIESSE® is an FDA-approved dermal filler composed of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier medium. It works uniquely in two phases: the gel carrier provides immediate volume to smooth wrinkles and folds, then as the gel gradually absorbs, the CaHA microspheres stimulate your body’s natural collagen production for long-lasting structural support.

There is virtually no discomfort with RADIESSE treatment. The product comes premixed with lidocaine, a local anesthetic, for comfortable injection. Dr. Avaliani uses Accuvein technology to visualize blood vessels and minimize bruising. The Vibrata tool further decreases injection sensation. Pro-Nox (nitrous oxide) is available upon request.
Treatment takes 15–30 minutes depending on the area. There is minimal downtime — resume normal activities immediately. Common temporary effects include mild swelling, redness, and bruising.
