Yes, with appropriate timing. Wait at least 2 weeks after neurotoxin injections (Botox, Dysport) before EMFACE. For dermal fillers, wait 2+ weeks and ensure there is no residual tenderness or bruising. For Sculptra, wait at least one month. EMFACE can be an excellent complement to maintain and enhance your injectable results.

EMFACE is not recommended for patients with facial piercings in the treatment area, cheek or forehead implants, metal facial plates, facial tattoos in the pad placement zones, active skin infections or open wounds, severe active acne, or recent sunburn. Stay well hydrated with plenty of water in the days before treatment. Avoid NSAIDs (ibuprofen, aspirin) and steroids for at least 5 days prior. Come to your appointment with a clean face — no lotions, creams, or makeup in the treatment area. That’s it — no other special preparation is needed.
