After Pico Eyebrows

Post-Treatment Care Instructions

Typical healing time: 3–7 days

Skin Cleaning

• Cleanse with mild cleanser
• Pat dry gently — avoid rubbing or picking
• Apply moisturizer of choice
• Take NSAIDs as needed (Advil, Aleve, Motrin, or Ibuprofen work better than Tylenol for swelling)
• Ice heavily the first night

What to Expect

• Hairs may turn white in color — this is normal and temporary
• Ink may shift through blue, gray, salmon pink, or black during the removal process
• Swelling may appear immediately or within hours
• Crusting typically lasts 3–5 days, similar to when microblading was originally applied

Moisturizing

Keep the area well-hydrated during crusting. Choose ointments over creams or lotions. Recommended products:

Aquaphor, CeraVe, Vaseline, Eucerin, Lubriderm, La Roche-Posay, Aveeno

Sun Protection

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for 4 weeks before and after treatment
• Use broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen (SPF 30+) every 2 hours in the sun
• Cover treated area with a bandage when exposed to sunlight

Brow Coverage

Brow gel, brow powder, and brow pencils are all OK to use immediately after treatment to conceal whitening or discoloration. Hair pigment typically returns within approximately one week.
